So here's the story...
I was using an old Compaq 333Mhz machine with no case on it and I realized a large portion of the case was useless...
This is where I got the idea that I should utilize less of the case and more of my desk...so I built my computer into my desk...

As you can see, the drives are mounted directly to the desk and all I really needed to do was splice the power supply wires so they were long enough...

This is my mounted CD-ROM which is fun to "use as a coaster" as Joe likes to say

I just kind of threw the hard drive on top of the power supply because it fit...
And because the part of the chassis it used to be in (the front half) was Dremeled off and thrown away...

I put the LEDs and a USB extender up front so I know when the PC is on and I never have to reach behind it...

And my favorite part, I drilled out the key cylinder on my desk drawer, removed all of the locking mechanisms for all of the drawers, and replaced the main key cylinder with a key switch...
Now I turn my computer on with a key and it doesn't look much different from the original look of the desk...
This is what the slow season at work produces...and my boss loves it
